The Wind-horse Gallery moved to a new location. After moving to a new place, the artist Kapil Mani Dixit thought of doing the first exhibition. Besides, he had been there since the last two years for the preparation of the exhibition itself. After completing his studies in Nepal, he left for America for further studies in art. After his studies, he remained in Nepal and continued practicing for his paintings. Kapil’s 18th solo painting exhibition will be held from  October 21 to November 12.

On the top floor of Moksha Bar, Windhorse Gallery is located in a long flat after going up from Bha-Yang. A colorful painting made by artist Kapil is kept outside the gallery. And inside, the paintings made by the same artist are hung all over the walls. Kapil, who believes that other artists who have been spending time in the art world for a long time should be given an equal place, this time he has jointly given the responsibility of curating his art to another artist, Bharat Rai and Pooja Duwal.

Even to this date, nude art has not got that much fame in Nepal. There are very few artists who are presenting their art in a different direction. In the past, while creating pictures, the artist Kapil thought that the patterns and patterns should match everything. Gradually, he is limited only to the feelings that exist in people. For him, Kapil says that every person’s face is not the only thing from which emotions can be seen, he has the experience of hiding sensations in every part of the body. He has always been attracted by the human body and believes that the texture of the body is no less beautiful and attractive than a landscape. All people’s bodies are as different as people, but in some ways they are the same. Maybe because of this, he is getting the motivation to make new pictures. The artist says that the main purpose of his painting is to express the emotions, motivation, happiness and anger of people that are not visible from the outside while he is painting.

In this exhibition, the artist says that he tried to capture the emotions of people in a very short time and only after capturing the emotions in a short time of about 1 to 5 minutes, he reflected them on the canvas. While using as few colors as possible, in this exhibition, less colors are used in the nude figures of women. Originally only black, white and yellow colors were used in this exhibition, it is different from his previous exhibition in the sense that this time he has emphasized the sensations he carries more than the figures and the structure of the body. He says that for him, yellow color represents happiness and excitement. “I don’t think my expressions should be beautiful anymore. Perhaps it is because of the maturity that has come to me that this exhibition is being held,’ says artist Kapil about his work.

Since it is not possible to invite any artist to show their work in the studio itself, artists should also exhibit their work outside from time to time. The artist believes that taking the expressions and suggestions of the audience during the exhibition will encourage them to do better work.

Due to the fact that the structure of the exhibition venue is long, the emotions of the people, the emotions of the body, etc. are kept in separate places, so it will be a separate experience for the audience.
